Meet

Stories Inspired by Family, Community, and the Moments We Remember

Monty P. Miani is a children’s author and longtime community advocate based in Escondido, California. With a professional background built around working with and serving people, Monty has also spent years involved in neighborhood leadership within his community.

His books reflect that same appreciation for human connection. Through Fish and a Stick and Little Love Bug, Monty turns familiar childhood experiences into warm stories about family, friendship, kindness, patience, laughter, and the small moments that often become our most treasured memories.

For Monty, a meaningful story does not need an extraordinary beginning. Sometimes it starts beside a lake with a stick and someone you love. Sometimes it begins with a box of donut holes and a secret between a daughter and her father.

What matters is the memory that remains.
